Process & Reporting
05Who handles document collection and information gathering?
Choose the approach that works best for your team. Your team collects: you provide the documents, and VIA handles processing and reconciliation. VIA collects: we gather statements and follow up with funds for missing documents on your behalf.
06Does VIA reconcile historical data since inception?
We reconstruct and reconcile each investment's transaction history from inception, using available records to support accurate performance reporting and a complete record of capital activity.
07How often is reporting updated?
Investment reporting is updated as capital activity occurs or new valuations become available. Other balance sheet assets are typically updated annually or semi-annually.
08Can reports feature our firm's branding?
Reports can feature your firm's branding or leverage VIA's standard formatting.
Security
09Who has access to our data?
Access is limited to your team, your clients, and authorized VIA personnel. Permissions are role-based, and access is logged.
10How is our data protected?
Data and account credentials are encrypted both in transit and at rest. Security documentation is available on request.
Services
11How is pricing determined?
Pricing is tailored to the level of support you need and the complexity of the households, investments, and entities we support. Each engagement begins with a clearly defined scope and agreed-upon fees.
12What are the different service tiers?
Private Fund Reporting: document collection, transaction reconciliation, and ongoing reporting on private investment performance and capital activity. Full-Service: comprehensive balance sheet reporting across investments, assets, and liabilities, along with cash flow projections and ongoing reporting administration. Family Office Reporting & Consulting: broader support that includes multi-entity bookkeeping, financial statements, coordination with tax and estate advisors, and planning and consulting services.
